About Rachel

I came to midwifery with a passion for working with mothers and their families, and a life-long facination with the amazing human body. I became a massage therapist in 2004, focusing on pregnancy and postpartum treatment. I went on to earn my Bachelor's degre in Biology in 2009 with an eye towards healthcare. While attending the Massachusetts Midwives Allicance course, I realized that the birth world was the place for me. I began attending births as a doula and also earned my RN/BSN in 2014. I worked as a maternity nurse in a community hospital for two years, and also began attending homebirths as an apprentice midwife.

I am a wife and a mother, grateful to my incredible support network of family and friends that allow me to do this incredible work!

I am now in the "Primary Midwife Under Supervision" phase of certification and am accepting clients while working with a fantastic team of experienced midwives. You are most welcome to contact me by phone or email to chat about birth and discuss your options for care.
